Partial Hospitalization Program

Cute African American schoolgirl talks with a teacher or school
Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers psychiatric care to children and adolescents ages 12 to 17 who do not require 24-hour care. Each patient receives and individualized treatment plan, which may include nursing care, medication management, group therapy, educational support, family therapy and individual therapy.

As part of discharge, qualified staff will meet with the patient and family to discuss and plan continued treatment options as the patient integrates back into the community. The receiving referral source will be notified of the discharge plan for continued follow up.

Our goal is to teach individuals new coping skills in a structured, supportive environment. Through evidence-based programs, we strive to help our patients overcome their life challenges in a healthy, productive way.

PHP is held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Lunch is provided daily.
